Ditch Witch Of Minnesota & Iowa is the premier supplier of underground construction equipment in Minnesota, Iowa, Western Wisconsin and Western Illinois. Our line of equipment includes the products that can help you work productively and profitably. We provide industry-leading Ditch Witch® trenchers, trenchless solutions, stand-on skid steers, vibratory plows, directional drills and vacuum excavators, Subsite® electronic tracking and locating equipment, Felling Trailers, Lane Trailer and frost removal equipment for ground thawing and winter utility work.

Ditch Witch of Minnesota was established by The Charles Machine Works, Inc. as dealership in 1965 and now is one of the top Ditch Witch® distributorships in America. This company was located in Hopkins, MN, before moving to Shakopee, MN, in 1971.

President of the company, Warren Peiffer, along with his sons Weston and Wyatt, manage the daily operations of this growing business. In September of 2015 Ditch Witch of Minnesota acquired Ditch Witch of Iowa. We are now Ditch Witch Of Minnesota & Iowa. Today, Ditch Witch Of Minnesota & Iowa has over 45 employees at four locations. The corporate office is located in Shakopee, MN with three branch offices in Fergus Falls, MN, Huxley, IA and Davenport, IA. All branches provide sales support, parts inventory and support, and shop and field service technical support for all of your Ditch Witch® equipment.

Our distribution territory covers all of Minnesota and Iowa and 19 Western Wisconsin counties from Superior to Lacrosse and 13 counties in Western Illinois. Our sales staff consist of five territory managers in Minnesota, and four territory managers in Iowa, and two compact utility specialists, one in each State. These experts can assist with your equipment needs and have the resources to be your partner in getting the job done.
